About Sylvesta
Sylvesta is a kooky and cuddly boy who loves to run and jump and sneak up on unsuspecting cushions.
Originally the youngest in a home of 6 cats, Sylvesta was very scared to move into foster care. After living inside a couch for a month, he made his triumphant entrance. The reason he was so shy is because he is incredibly smoochy and needs time to build trust with those in his forever home. Once he feels safe, he will lounge with you, roll onto his back and curl up into the cutest pretzel. He loves to feel close and be snuggled (and sometimes get a belly rub!).
As well as cuddling with the best of them, Sylvesta is an active runner- doing laps to burn energy, or following you around and darting through your legs. And he’s an endearing weirdo- finding places to hide and hunt invisible mice, or attack a pillow. He loves to play with dangling string and also appreciates having some company when he eats.
He loves to sit up high, watching the world outside, or just have a chat. He tolerates being picked up for a few seconds but doesn’t yet know how to really appreciate it.
He would likely get on with other cats, but is also happy on his own, as long as he has an interesting space to explore, or a good amount of company.
Medical notes
Sylvesta is a healthy happy boy!
