Ruffles is an amazing boy with a fantastic sense of fashion - just look at that eyeliner!

Even his impound photo reminds me of a fluffy Blue Steel 😻

At 15 years young, Ruffles came to us as an FIV transfer from a sister rescue.
He was a fluffy bag of bones who had a little more spice than they were used to, and needed a special haircut as his lovely golden locks had been neglected to the point it was causing him pain.

He has been in care for 7 weeks and his wonderful carer has him completely wrapped around her little finger.

It wasn’t long after coming in to care that Ruffles was having trouble eating - this beautiful senior had some major dental pain going on, which was making it difficult for him to eat. And let’s face it, if we have a tooth ache we aren’t at our most sociable either.

A trip to the dentist, and an ongoing diet of quality soft food has really helped him blossom.

Ruffles happily curls up for goodnight hugs with her, he is so enamored he would happily follow her around the house waiting for that next pat.

Sadly Ruffles isn’t a cat person and this fact is holding him back from showing his true potential - the love monster we all know and love is scared to death of other cats.
His fight or flight reaction is strong so we would love to help him find a forever home he can live out his Golden years as an only cat, free to love his humans openly.
