About Ruby
Meet Ruby
Ruby is a little bit of a mixture being a Great Dane x Mastiff x Shar Pei - Wowee!
Ruby is 4 years old, born on 30 December 2015 and is a real cuddle bug.
Ruby's mum had to move and couldn't take Ruby with her. She was a little depressed and stressed when she first arrived but now she loves all the staff and volunteers and adores being taken for a walk.
Ruby much prefers humans to other dogs and we recommend that she lives in an only dog household.
Ruby has seemed ok with cats at the facility but, as her former owner told us she didn't like them we would not recommend she lives with one. No pocket pets for this girl.
While Ruby does not seem to be bothered by loud noises, we would recommend she be allowed inside during thunderstorms and fireworks where she knows she is safe. As Ruby seems to be house trained, there is no need to worry about accidents inside the home while Ruby is enjoying family time.
Ruby would happily sit alongside her humans all night and day and is such a happy and affectionate gal, who with patience, training and consistency would make a super loyal and perfect companion for the right family.
Ruby would love to be in a home where she is included as a member of the family and involved in the day to day activities. Ruby will thrive in an environment that guides her with positive direction and lots of love and attention.
Ruby's adoption fee is $450 and includes her desexing, lifetime registration, and 3 x training lessons with thanks to Wyong Dog Training. She is also regularly treated for flea and worms and is up to date with her vaccinations.

Adoption details
If you are interested in adopting one of our animals, please give the facility a call on 43044350 to make an appointment and ask further questions.
Staff will ask more about your lifestyle and the information you provide helps the facility to achieve the best match between the dog or cat and their new home.
Once all of your questions have been answered, its time to meet your potential new furbaby. This meet will be conducted at the facility unless prior arrangements are made by management.
After the meet and greet, a yard check will be completed at your home to ensure that your home and yard is suitable for the kind of pet you are interested in. Please bring to your appointment photos of your fencing also showing all gates that attach to the house.
Should you have an existing dog in your life, we will require a meet and greet to ensure that they get along.
The final step (pending agreement by both parties) is the payment of the adoption fee and filling in of associated paperwork for your new furbaby.
Congratulations, you have now saved a life!
