About Millie
Millie is a very special one year old rescue who is very affectionate, gentle and friendly with people and dogs. Millie has a lot of energy to burn; one to two hours of walk is required for her to burn off her energy with a lot of mental stimulation throughout the day i.e. morning walk before breakfast and afternoon walk before dinner with one or two snuffle games.
In her walks, she loves to socialise with people and dogs. She will follow you around to get cuddles and play. She is good on leash and off leash when she doesn’t have too many distractions of her surroundings as she will run around but always come back to you when you moved to another direction.
She is not quite a fan of fetch; she will do around three times then refused to do more for you. Having said so, continuous training will be required as she is a very smart dog that can learn quickly.
Millie is good when leaving her alone for short period of time. When you are feeding her, make sure she knows you are around her otherwise she will not eat much but nibbles throughout the day. She can clean her bowl within 10 minutes when you are around her.
Millie is also very affectionate and calm when you want some quiet time, she is happy just sleeping in the same room with you or play with her own plush toys or come to you and asked for cuddles. She prefer to have people around her instead of toys.
Millie is toilet-trained however will only go to toilet in the yard instead of in a park. She is getting used to car rides and will also sleep through from 8pm to 5.30am. She is not tested with cat and children. She will sometimes get too physically stimulated when she is happy so do not recommend children younger than 12 years old.
Preferably to have working dog breed experiences for ongoing training.
