About Gyro
Gyro is a confident, adventurous and playful boy who is not afraid to let his foster family know when he wants something!
This curious 8 week old is active and goofy. Ready to chase a toy or investigate a bug as soon as it captures his attention, he also likes to curl up in his foster mum’s lap for a cuddle after a good meal.
Being a working breed, Gyro is intelligent and will grow into a medium sized, high energy dog who’ll need both daily physical and mental stimulation as well as ongoing training to avoid him getting bored. Agility, fly ball or herding might be of interest to him as he grows up.
Gyro is currently living with 2 other small dogs and learning quickly about toys, doggy manners and toileting outside the house. He has shown some food guarding, so any new family needs to be on top of this with correct training.
He will require a home with another playful, energetic dog at home or someone home most days. You must be committed to his ongoing training, socialisation and meeting his physical and mental stimulation needs. You will have previous experience with working breeds and preferably within dog sports.
He will thrive in an active household that will ensure he is taken out on many adventures and outings to explore the world and stimulate his brain. At home, a nice soft bed inside to sleep on and some cuddles from his humans will keep this boy happy.
If you are the fun loving, adventurous family that Gyro needs, please apply by completing the adoption enquiry form on our Fetching Dogs website as the next step.

Don't see a breed attached to one of our dogs? That's because we don't breed label dogs of unknown genetic history. We can't guess at breeds but that's okay, because we can tell you about the dog's individual personality, character, and behaviour.
