About Diesel
Hi, I'm Diesel and I have a lot of love to give.
I'm a 9 year old Kelpie male which means I love to snuggle up on the couch with my family but still get out for runs each day.
Sometimes I get a bit distracted so it's best if I'm in an enclosed dog park where I can chase all the things and run to my heart's content. I'm getting better at coming when my foster parents call but could do with some more training.
I get on well with other dogs but sometimes prefer spending time on my own. I have made lots of friends at the dog park and like the ones that run fast like me.
My favourite thing in the entire world is pats. I just can't get enough. If you stop, I will politely ask for more by snuggling up to you and even crawling over you as sometimes I think I'm a lap dog. No one can say no to my doggy eyes.
I know boundaries and wait to be asked into certain rooms or to eat. Im also very good at sit and stay.

OUR ADOPTION PROCESS
1. You see a dog you like.
2. Fill in our online adoption form by clicking here or on our website. Be sure to include any questions you may have on our adoption form. This form does not obligate you to adopt, it simply gives us an idea of your situation and needs.

3. If your are successful, one of our volunteers will contact you to organise a meet and greet at your home and conduct a yard check at the same time.
4. Should all go to plan, you will be welcomed to start your 2 week trial period immediately. Adoption fee will be required to be paid at the beginning of the trial period.
During the 2 week trial period, should you decide that this dog is not for you, you are welcome to return the dog (the more notice the better, to ensure we have a foster carer available) and your payment will be retunded to you in full, within 3 business days of the return of the dog.

We are a volunteer run organisation, who have their own jobs during the day, we don't have someone manning our phones 24/7, therefore cannot respond to all inquiries immediately. The fastest way to have your questions answered is to include it in the application form. This will speed up your application with us, and help us communicate with you faster.
Please be patient with us, as the unpredictable nature of rescue may prevent us from clearing all enquiries regularly.
