About Finn
Hi lovely friends, I'm Finn. I'm a petite and placid puppy with a lot of love to give. I am super chilled and don't mind having a lot of love and attention from the kids in my foster home (18 months and 4 years old) and I never tire from their pats and cuddles.
While I enjoy the attention, I'm equally as happy with my own company and don't particularly fret or stress when I'm left at home on my own. I'm happy to race around the yard and play with my teddies and I'm good at making my own fun.
As I'm still quite young I am learning to go to the toilet outside and will get this with some more training. I mostly make it outside but, when I don't, I go to the bathroom to wee; much to the surprise of my foster family who have no idea why I do this.
I love to sit on laps and snuggle and I don't bite or mouth however I do jump up to try and get more pats and love. I'm very good at balancing on my hind legs to try and make myself taller when I want to get attention.
Am I the missing piece of your family's puzzle? If you'd like to adopt me please apply now; a gorgeous little guy like me won't be waiting here for long.
Want to know more about how you teach a pup to be a great dog? I'd like to do training every day so that I learn the commands of sit, stay, come, down, no, stop and leave it. And once I've learnt them, I need to keep practicing them every day too. That way I'll learn to obey what you tell me to do. Being consistent and clear with your boundaries will mean I always know the right way to behave. Getting out to exercise at least once a day (and twice for working dog breeds) is vital to stimulate my brain and body. It creates important opportunities for me to meet strangers, other dogs and other animals, plus it tires me out! Tell me ""no"" if I'm chewing something I shouldn't and give me a chew toy instead. I'd love to have a range of chew toys that you can swap around so I don't get bored with them.
I CAN FLY TO PERTH!
Flying for a few hours is very important for animals in remote locations, because it gives us the opportunity to be adopted. Talk to SAFE about flying me to you in Perth.
