About Luke
My name is Luke and I’m a very fluffy, long-haired tabby cat.
I love everyone that I meet, I’m super friendly and very confident. I love getting pats and cuddles from my foster mum, but I’ll let you know when I’ve had enough. Sometimes I’ll give you a cheeky love nip, but I won’t bite you. I like being scratched under the chin and occasionally like a good belly rub.
I love to play with toys, and I love zooming around my foster home. I also like to sleep everywhere. Sometimes if you can’t find me, I’ll be curled up in a small, hidden spot like a wardrobe or underneath a clothes horse. I’ll also jump into bed with you, if you let me, and I’m fascinated by moving limbs underneath the blanket.
I can’t quite yet be trusted being outside on balconies, as I’m far too curious and jump up on the railing. I like climbing up on top of furniture so I can get a better look at the outside world.
I can be a little mischievous but will have you wrapped around my little paw in no time. I have a fascination with scratching couches even though I have two scratching posts at my foster home.
I only go to the bathroom in my litter. I’m very well fed at my foster home but will pretend like I’m still a stray on the streets if it means I can get an extra treat or feed.
I’m currently being taught to walk on a harness. It's still touch and go.
I’m okay with getting in the crate, I don’t like it, but if you lure me in with enough treats, I’ll get in far enough for you to close the door.
I am best suited to a home with adults, single or a couple, or a home with children over 12.
Medical notes
Luke is a healthy young boy who has been desexed, microchipped and vaccinated.
