Sam

Sam is a lovely older dog who just needs your help to live out the last few years of his life in comfort. His elderly owner has gone into a nursing home and sam has been left with a caring neighbour who can no longer hold on to him. Sam is friendly and still lively though sleeping in a warm spot is still his favourite passtime. Sam has been an outside dog for most of his life and just needs a sheltered warm spot. Sam is probably not suited to a family with younger kiddies as it has been a long time since he has had any interaction with children. He is not so fond of cats and can still dig a little. Sam has been vet checked and despite a slight heart murmur seems to be in good condition. He is fearful of thunder is a great watch dog, as he'll let you know when a stranger comes into the yard. Sam would make an excellent companion for an older person or couple or families with adult children. He is good natured and patient and is not a fussy eater
