Laura

Lovely LAURA is a sweet-natured, young kelpie female with oodles of personality and charm and oh so eager to please.

Like all kelpies, Laura is a highly intelligent, alert and very trainable dog. Because she has such a high IQ, she may get into mischief if left to her own devices, so we are looking for a home where someone is home most of the time and/or there is a canine pal to play with.

To be happy and content, Laura will require plenty of exercise and mental stimulation. The greatest joy in life for a kelpie is tender loving care from their human family and their greatest disappointment is inactivity and lack of attention.

Once Laura bonds with you, she'll be wherever you are - whether that's pounding the pavements on long walks or runs, or lounging in front of the television in the evening. Kelpies are "velcro dogs" that thrive on human company and interaction.

Laura is very dog-friendly and has been exposed successfully to a range of other species, including cats, kangaroos and horses. However, it's important to know that she can be timid with strangers and will require a a little time to settle into her new home and bond with her new family. Once she has, she'll love you forever.

Being so young, Laura has a lifetime of canine joy and devotion to give to her forever family.

She is desexed, microchipped, wormed and vaccinated and her adoption fee is $650.
