About Missy and Hazel
FOSTER HOMES NEEDED.
Indoor cage can be supplied to foster carers.
Please do some research on what's involved in adequately housing and caring for guinea pigs before enquiring.
Please also let us know what type of cage/enclosure you will be using. We do not promote the use of small two story timber or outdoor metal cages.
Indoor play pens, plastic bottom or C&C cages are recommended.
Guinea pigs make wonderful pets and like all other animals they need lots of room to run and play and most enjoy human interaction once they feel safe with their people.
We prefer our guinea pigs to be indoors with supervised outdoor time, there's a lot of information available about having indoor guinea pigs and we are happy to give advice.
Guine pigs require a specific diet consisting of a variety of fresh vegetables and they need a constant supply of fresh hay.
Hazel: She's a real sweetheart who loves affection once she's comfortable with you. She was the first one to trust out of the pair and is helping Missy with her confidence around humans. Loves a scratch behind the ear and has even closed her eyes and purred during a good scratch session 😊
She is also very vocal when she's ready food 😂
Missy: Miss independent. She's the dominant one of the pair and the most shy. She is still flighty at times, but has really come out of her shell thanks to Hazel. She lets Hazel suss things out first before trying 😂.
She is also very smart and I believe could be toilet trained as she's quite particular about her habitat and will only toilet in the one area.
She's not a fan of being held, but once warmed up to you, she loves a head scratch when eating 😊
Please contact us if you think you can offer these girls the type of home we're looking for.

Adoption details
If you think one of our animals would be a good match for your home please email us and we will be in touch shortly after. We all work fulltime, have families and other commitments so your patience is appreciated.
We do require any other dogs in your home meeting our foster animal before they head home with you. This enables us to assess their compatibility and helps prevent them being returned and creating more confusion/insecurities for the foster animal.
All our animals are available for a two week trial with full refund. They are also covered by a lifetime return policy. If you ever find yourself unable to care for or keep your pet please contact us and they will come back into our care, this is a condition of our Adoptions.
