About Poppy
You must complete an online application form at https://www.all4pawsdogrescue.com.au/forms.html and the carer will contact you if you're suitable.
Meet poppy she needs someone willing to take her to obedience just to desensitise around other dogs. She gets scared meeting other dogs and new people. She will bark at them but I've been using a squirt bottle to distract and then praise good behaviour. She loves to be inside with you. I don't allow her on furniture as she can become possessive of her people so she really needs a committed family who want to work with her. She's been great with my daughter who's 5 years old but she's also very dog savvy. Ideally she would go to a family with young adults not with young children who want to take her to obedience and walking daily. She's better as an only dog but she is good with dogs. She's great with cats too. But not great with chickens.
She has shown signs before of resource guarding her people so she needs someone who is willing to be a firm leader and guide her.
No apartments please
No young children
