Kira is a 1 year old staff x mastiff

She is good with other dogs, both big and small. Loves to play after they have had an introduction.

Good with people and warms up quickly to strangers. She is a big softy and loves cuddles.

Likes to around people and will follow you around the house but is growing more independent each day.

She loves to laze about in the sun but she has fair skin so may be prone to getting burnt in the summer

Kira walks well on a leash/harness and rarely pulls. Doesn’t react to other dogs even when they are barking from behind a fence. Currently going on two 30min - 1h walks a day. She is very inquisitive when out on walks so lots of time spent stopping to smell everything.

Will sit and shake although sometimes can be unresponsive. Her recall will need some work and because of this she has not been let off the leash in a public space.

Kira likes a game of tug a war with a big rope and is very strong, also loves to chase a tennis ball round that she will sometimes give back to you.

So far she hasn’t showed any destructive tendencies and doesn’t seem very interested in food that’s on the bench or shelf. She also doesnt jump but will sometimes paw at you if she wants some attention.

She doesn’t bark very often, only a bit on her first night at her foster house and sometimes in the park when other dogs are having fun without her.
