🐾🐻 MEET BEAR 🐻🐾
Nature
Hi there, my name is Bear and I am looking for my fur-ever family. I’m a very shy boy but I do warm up over time. I really need someone who will be very patient with me and will love me unconditionally.
As you can see I am needing to get myself a gym membership as I am a little… big boned at the moment, but my foster family tells me every day I still look like a million dollars!
Companions (Children, Cats & Dogs)
I have not been face-to-face with any other cats just yet but in my foster home, I just sit and stare at the other guys as they stroll past me without a worry in the world. I’m sure that if we had a nice slow introduction that I could be friends with another cat. I think I would be best suited to a home with a calm, older pooch that can give me space… or I’d also be quite OK without them.
I haven’t met any kids in my foster home, but I think I would be best suited to a home without young children because I am such a shy boy, older children might be OK as long as they aren’t too rough with me. I do really love soft pats so as long as I can get plenty of those I think I will be a happy Bear!
Likes / Dislikes
I thoroughly enjoy hiding - especially in small, cosy cubbies! I do get scared at night time in the dark, especially if I am by myself. My foster family put a night-light on for me to make me feel safe, however being in their company makes me feel better too.
I really enjoy foods that are light and fluffy (not dense) and I have also started taking a liking to cat milk.
My PURR-fect home would be a nice calm and relaxed household with someone or a family who can give me time to settle into my new surroundings and be patient with me as I learn to trust you - I will then reward you will lots and lots of love. I think I could be OK with another friendly feline as long as we are introduced slowly of course!

FIV is transmitted through deep bite wounds. Due to his FIV Bear will need to be an indoor only cat. FIV cats can live harmoniously with other cats however slow introductions are required to ensure they do not fight.
