About Zeus
Hi, my name is Zeus, I know it is a big name for a such a small fellow (2.7kg) like myself. But I assure you, you will come to worship my very being as I do my person.
I am one of the most loveable, affectionate little dogs my foster family have met.
I am a dog who loves being with my humans more than anything else. You will never be alone when you have me in your life. If you a watching tv whether on the lounge or in bed, I will be snuggled right up on you or at the very least next you. If you are hanging washing or gardening, I will come with you to keep a close eye on you, same goes with the bathroom, my humans are really my everything. I do miss my humans when they go out and I will try my best to make you feel guilty. On occasion I have been known to vocalise my dissatisfaction too, so ideally, I would prefer someone who is home more often than not.
I am currently living with four fur siblings who are medium/large breeds. Initially I was a bit intimidated by their size but I have come to realise that they are really friendly, my foster Mum just has to remind them and myself to be careful that they don’t sit or lay on me. Because I am such a small boy, my foster Mum thinks I would be better having a fur sibling closer to my own size or be an only dog.
I am a chilled little guy, who is very much a Mummy’s boy. But if my fur siblings are alerted to the garbage truck, postie or someone else going past with their dog, then I have no hesitation in joining in as their noisy wingman until my foster Mum becomes the fun police and tells us all no.
Foodwise I am apparently one fussy little guy, it has been a little bit of trial and error for my foster Mum trying to find what I like to eat. After having settled into my new temporary digs and having had my dental work done, my appetite has improved a little. I enjoy roast chicken, pork, the occasional cooked egg yolk, Schmacko and Dentastix.
My ideal family would be home often and would want to include me as an important part of the family. If children are in the equation, I think I would prefer older children as I am only a tiny boy and they would need to know how to be gentle with me and to treat me with love and kindness.
If you think I may be the perfect fit for you, please submit an application so my people can hook you up for chance to meet with me.

If applying to adopt one of our furbabies over the age of 6 months we recommend that you bring to the meet and greet any of your furbabies to see how they interact.

Paw Prints Canine Rescue has a 2 week trial period – this basically means that if for any reason the adoption does not work out and the dog needs to be returned to us, the adoption fee minus an admin fee (minimum is $100) will be returned to the adoptees via bank transfer within 7 working days.
Please note that if an interstate adoption needs to be returned or regional adoption all transport cost with be paid by the adopter.
