About Sprocket
Meet Sprocket
This girl has come from a hoarding situation thus she isn't used to a lot of things and the world is a bit overwhelming for her. Having said that, she is determined to embrace her newfound freedom and has shown that she can adapt well in a safe, loving & gentle home that can accept her past but guide her to a happy future with some positive routine. *Due to her neglect, she has had a litter not long before we rescued her.
She will need guidance and a lot of TLC to introduce her to this wonderful world so will need someone who is home more than not. Being left alone for 8-10 hours a day will not work for her development & growth. You will need to provide ongoing behavioural training so she can grow into a great canine citizen and companion.
Sprocket can be nervous around loud noises and/or unfamiliar sound but she will adapt once she knows there is no danger. She's curious about new surroundings and enjoys a good walk. She is good with other dogs but a bit cautious of strangers so a proper introduction to new humans is a must. Once she knows you she'will ask for her cuddle.
She is an indoor dog so environment/home where it is chaotic and loud won't be suitable for Sprocket. A good size secure yard is a must.
NOT TESTED WITH CATS
She has sensitive skin, itchiness around the belly specifically during spring / Summer, mainly from the grass.
She will need to be on Omega Oil-rich food and grainless /No Grain.
Sensitive skin shampoo with natural essential oils is the best for her skin
