Rasta is a 2 year old American Staffy mix looking for a very special new home!

Rasta is a shy fellow who needs the support and patience of his new owners to help him continue to come out of his shell. He is yet to experience much of the big bad world and his new owners will need to understand this and be willing to go slow with Rasta – that means no dog parks, camping trips or walks to the beach at first until he’s comfortable in his new home. 👍

Having very little experiences with new places, people and animals, Rasta is quite reserved. He’s also had little training in his life – we’ve slowly desensitized him to his leash and he’s now happy to walk along side us on his familiar walking track but there’s still lots of work to be done here with Rasta. 🐾

Rasta is looking for a home with no other animals and no children. He needs a calm and quiet home with experienced dog owners willing to invest a lot of time and energy into helping Rasta grow into the best dog he can be. 🐕

Rasta is looking for a home where he will be an inside dog and would even do well in an apartment being the calm and quiet boy he is. 🥰 He’s extremely affectionate with people and is such a loyal companion, he will make an amazing addition to the right family.

Rasta loves people and although he may be a little nervous meeting strangers at first, he’s easily enticed with treats and will be rolling over for a belly rub in no time. ❤️
