Hiya, I'm Steele.. like Blue Steel, because I'm just so handsome!
I'm a 1.5 year old stunning black kelpie fella who is playful, energetic and a big smooch.
I am enjoying foster life on the farm. Foster Mum says my recall is great, and my learning to walk on lead is going well too. I love to run and play zoomies with the other kelpies.
I've had a go on sheep and do have a bit of natural instinct, but it would take some time and a dedicated trainer to help me reach my full potential. I am very polite around livestock and have an excellent call off the sheep, even when I've been working them. I am a steady, holding and have a fair bit of eye and don't like to rush the sheep kind of dog, but can also have a bit of bite and bark.
So foster Mum thinks I'd make a great farm companion for someone looking for a pal to go everywhere with and spend their day with. Some other active dogs to play with would be a bonus! I jump on the ute/in the dog box etc and love to go for adventures.

To apply to adopt a dog from Dogs4Jobs, you must firstly complete our adoptions application form in full at http://dogs4jobs.com.au/adoption-form/.
You can also write out your answers and email them to dogs@dogs4jobs.com.au
*Please note, due to the high volume of applications received, we will not respond to Petrescue chat messages, or enquiries to adopt a dog. You must complete our adoptions form to be considered for the dog or pup, and we will respond to this form via our email.
We will then request to complete a yard check, or for you to send in photos of your yard showing the fencing, space, shelter and any hazards etc, to confirm it is safe and secure, as well as adequate space for a working breed dog.
Following this, we will then put you in touch with the dog/s foster carer/s that you are interested in, to chat further over the phone, about whether the dog is a good fit for your family, and vice versa. We are searching for the perfect match for each dog and their needs. A meet and greet can be arranged if both parties wish to proceed, and we also offer interstate adoption on all of our dogs.
