About Bonnieš¶
Beautiful Bonnie came into care after being surrendered to one of our vets. She was underweight, had skin issues, and needed medical attention. These are the Rescue babies needing our help, so Bonnie was placed with one of our carers to heal and gain some much needed weight.
This darling girl is now on the mend and getting stronger by the day....sheās almost ready for her new forever home.
Bonnie will turn 8 next month and currently in care with another Lab who is 6, and 4 adult cats. She has no issues with either and enjoys the company of both.
We believe Bonnie would suit being an only dog as long as she has human company and home most of the time. We also feel that older teenage children would be best. If you have another large breed submissive dog, this would also be suitable, however Bonnie likes to rule the roost, so they would need to be ok with that. She does not tolerate small breed dogs at all, so please donāt apply to adopt if you have one...
Bonnie loves a walk, but will need a strong firm hand to walk her as she gets excited and will pull on the lead. This however can be changed with some consistent training. She loves her belly rubs and head pats and will happily snooze by your feet....although she will probably try to take a position on the couch first! She is also doing well with toilet training, but may need a reminder every now and then.
We are looking for the perfect home for this special girl. If you think you are the happy ending this lady is looking for, please contact us here at Paws a Moment & rescue. She is located at Umina Beach on the Central Coast NSW.
Adoption details
If you would like to express interest in adopting, we ask that you send through some info about yourself, your family and home, if you rent or own (rental agreement required if renting and rates notice required if you own) and what you can offer this gorgeous baby. Our aim is to find the best homes for our babies, not necessarily first in best dressed, so a good detailed application will make you stand out from the rest.
Once we have received your email outlining the above, those who we feel may be suitable, will be sent an Adoption Questionnaire to complete. Your enquiry will then be passed onto the appropriate carer and successful applicants will be contacted via phone.
