About Sonny
Sonny is quite a playful cuddly little dog once he is comfortable, he is still young so he is a chewer and requires mental stimulation, enrichment and and craves attention. He does not like to be approached, and prefers females.
he is a Jack Russell cross Corgi, super smart and ready to be loved and give love.
He has had some exposure to the dog park and is just getting used to a harness and walking on lead. This will require a lot of patience and support in getting him comfortable and willing to have the harness put on but so far he is enjoying being out and about and finding new smells.
He must have another dog companion and gets along well with other dogs.
He travels okay in the car.
He will require space and someone that will allow him to have his own safe space and not push him too fast to socialise in his new home. He enjoys the quiet life and a slow calm environment is where he will thrive. Sonny is suited to a single or couples home without children.
He loves the lounge and cuddles and currently sleeps in my bed, he will expect this to continue in his new home or at least in the same room.
He is doing well with toilet training but still needs reminding to go outside regularly.
Sonny does not like loud noises and will take off in any direction if there is a sudden noise so a secure yard and someone experienced with rescue/scared/timid dogs is desired.
