Buddy ~ 7yr Old Lab X(On Trial 4/12/20)

Buddy is a 7yr old Labrador Retriever X. He has the most beautiful temperament. One of the best we have ever seen in a dog.

Buddy will be loyal, loving and give back two fold. Buddy just wants your company. We feel he would best suit a young active family with kids who want to play with him and show him plenty of love and cuddles. He is not bothered at all by a little bit of rough play. He loves walks on the beach and tagging along on bike rides.

Buddy spent most of his life on a chain in a business yard. He was known to escape in the past, but we feel since having him that this was just to find company and pats.
He will need to be kept on a strong secure lead at all times when outside the house yard, possibly until he feels safe and secure at his new home. He dislikes storms and prefers to be inside when they roll in. He may have a little cry when you leave him to go out but we have found this is happening less and less once he knows you will come back.

Buddy has learnt to SIT and WAIT for his food, he is very obedient and learns fast. He also shakes hands! Buddy is great with other dogs and shows absolutely no aggression towards them. Bud loves to sleep inside so he knows he is part of the family, but also is okay outside. Preferably somewhere he can see inside and listen for his human family. He will come with his own newly purchased bed which he loves and is quite happy sleeping in. This beautiful boy will thrive in a family who treats him like another human of the household. He just wants to be with you wherever you go, whenever possible.

Buddy is quite strong on the lead so until he is trusted to not run off, he will need a adult to walk him on the leash. When we tell people about Buddy, he sounds too good to be true but HE IS the best dog ever.

Buddy is located in Redhead NSW (suburb of Newcastle NSW) and is ready and eager to meet his new forever family.
