Hi my name is Anibou! My foster mum says that I act like a puppy, but I say I am just young at heart. We go to the park and so many people want to pat me, I love the attention, they all think I am soooo beautiful. I
am small like an English Staffy; chocolate brown in colour and have a fun loving nature.
I have had some very serious training to help give me guidance in my young life as I arrived into care with some bad habits. My foster parents have been very strict with me, sometimes they are no fun at all. I just want to cuddle on the bed, especially when it is windy and stormy outside; I get so scared.
But they take me for lots of walks because I have so much energy and I am very good at sitting. I sometimes even get to go for a bike ride - which I LOVE. Foster dad says we can get up to 35km's, which I think is a lot.
I am toilet trained and will use the doggie door, or ask to be let out. Then I knock to be let back in. I wait to be allowed to eat breakfast and dinner.
I like my foster brother and sister, they can be fun to play tug-of-war with, but I do not like it when they jump on my foster parents, I get really worried they are hurting them.
It is because of this that they tell me my new hoomans must have lots of experience with 'bold and willful' puppers. I sometimes get so excited that I start to mouth and chew, if I am not told to stop, I could bite hard.
I don't think I would like to be in a house with small children, cats or small dogs, as I think I would be getting into trouble all the time for bouncing and maybe knock them over. A big backyard would be lovely, even better if it was not in the city - loud noises scare me, plus I love to run and run.
I need more controlled socialization when meeting new dogs, I get so excited I can't control myself and I don't always remember my manners. But I love when people give me attention, I love people.
I really am a lovely little girl; I just need someone who will be patient and strong enough to keep my training up and help refine my manners.
