Is this a face only a mother could love? We think it’s a truly gorgeous face to match her equally gorgeous personality.

She’s an absolute gem with people and all dogs including puppies and small dogs. When I pointed out the cat up on his totem pole, she gave me a look that said, “so what?

One year old Shadow and several others were surrendered to a regional Pound when their family moved into town from a rural setting with 13 dogs.

As for Shadow’s breed, the one thing we’re certain of is her Boxer heritage - her lovely coat pattern may come from a Koolie. Both of these breeds are historically wonderful natured dogs.

Shadow is a good girl, so easy to have around and get along with. She’s not an escape artist and stays in my house yard when I leave her there and walk away, when she could so easily get out if she wanted to.

Shadow has basic manners and would love a little ongoing training so she can show you what a clever girl she is - even the kind of training that comes from having a home of her own where she was loved and valued as a family member and the structure of a day to day routine, would benefit her immensely.

Barely out of puppyhood she’s an active, social young lady who would like more than a daily walk around the block. She would love to have play dates with other doggie guys and gals at the dog park, river, lake or beach.

Shadow is being desexed on Wednesday 11th November and will be ready to leave any time after that. We would like her to be in her forever home by the following weekend or as soon as possible after this, to begin bonding with you.

We have reduced Shadow’s adoption fee to $450 - we were asked if we’d accept this fee for her and agreed, only to have the person pull out, and we decided we’d like to keep her fee at $450 for the next person also.

PLEASE NOTE: our location is Moree, northern NSW. The ONLY way to adopt is to drive to collect your pet. So please let us know in your application that you can commit to the drive (we are about a 7 hour drive from Sydney).
Also if you need your Landlords permission, get this first before applying, and tell us you have it.
Lastly, make sure EVERYONE in your household is on board and happy to adopt Shadow BEFORE you apply.
