Lexi

Meet Lexi, the most loyal, loving and perfect companion awaiting her happily ever after. Lexi came to SAFE Newman 4 years ago as a wee little pup and went to her family. Only recently being recontacted, she came back into SAFE's care due to no fault of her own and her family relocating and being unable to take her with them.

A few things you need to know about Lex - she is a gentle soul who is always happy and adores everyone and everything. When you say 'perfect dog', she comes pretty close (well that's what her foster family believes anyway, and who wouldn't love that face!). Currently, in a foster home with dogs ranging from puppies to large breed, both males and females, Lexi is besties with everyone. She has also adapted to a home with cats and loves to lick kitten's faces after they have food, she is very helpful. Lexi has a fantastic recall, never steering far from her owner. She loves to jump in the car and go for drives and travels so well.
She is gentle with her food and loves a treat - who said you can't teach an old dog new tricks? Lexi loves to learn and please her humans. Going to the dog park is one of her favourite things, she will sniff, run around doing zoomies, and is also super clever she can go on the obstacles and run up and down the equipment. Lexi is housetrained sleeping on her bed all night long until it's time for wee's outside and breakfast. When excited, Lexi will jump up to say hello and greet new people however she is learning rather than jumping, if she sits she will receive so much love and attention - she is a fantastic sitter. She looks to be a working breed X, under knee height, and only on the Medium side. She is needing a home that will be willing to brush her coat as she does shed a little being a little on the fluffy side. She has a boofa body, a little head, and her face with the most sweetest smile. Lexi is so very special and sweet-natured, her next home will certainly be hitting the jackpot and wishing they have found her sooner, could this be with you?
