About Vinnie
*vinnie is trialling his new home*vinnie is a wonderfully happy and loving 6 month old border collie x puppy. He loves to be near you and will always walk up to you and roll onto his back for a tummy rub. He is starting to become interested in toys and is starting to play tug with them. Squeeky toys made him a little nervous at first but a light application of peanut butter has helped to reduce this and to make it one of the first toys he looks for. He is learning basic commands very quickly and is already good with sit, lie down and stay (at a short distance). His recall is getting better every day and he is responding well to the whistle. He walks well on the lead and has quickly got used to sitting when you stop to cross the road. He happily sits and lies down to have his paws dried and loves another tummy rub to make sure that is dry as well. He is very food motivated which is making training very easy as he will do anything for a treat. He has a fantastic temperament and has loved the attention of the children in the house and their friends who have come to play. He has met lots of dogs on his walks and likes to play. An active home would be ideal as each is well socialised and enjoys being active. Vinnie absolutely loves spending time playing with his sister verdi. They play together all of the time and have kept everyone entertained. They love to curl up together when they get tired. And settle well in there together overnight with hardly a noise being heard from them. They have been left for a few hours at a time and have kept each other company and enjoyed chewing on their stuffed kong toys.
