About Jack and Josie
Jack (male, blue leash) and Josie (Female, purple leash) were surrendered, with their Mumma (advertised here separately) to the Council Rangers, after numerous calls to council by worried citizens as the dogs were constantly running on the road. The owners were not willing or able to fix up the fencing to the property.
They are both sweet pups, who as you can probably see on the video, are very playful and friendly. They are both a little shy on first meeting, but quickly come around to any new human or dog they encounter. Both Jack and Josie are beginning to learn about having a leash on, obviously a new experience for them. They would both love to go to puppy preschool when they are in their forever homes.
Their Mumma is a chihuahua mix, but we have no idea of who their father is......I did quiz the vet as to what she thought - she didn’t know, but felt Jack and Josie would be probably no more than 8kgs fully grown.
They will be ready to leave foster care from Weds Nov 11th. And we would like them in their forever homes as soon as possible after this, to begin bonding with you.
So please click on the Enquire about this Pet button, and tell us as much as you can about yourselves and what you can offer either Jack or Josie. We need to know the following.....How long would the pup be alone during the day if at all?
Do you have other pets? Do you have children?
PLEASE NOTE: our location is Moree, northern NSW. The ONLY way to adopt is to drive to collect the pup. So please let us know in your application that you can commit to the drive.
Also if you need Landlords permission, get this first before applying, and tell us you have it.
Lastly, make sure EVERYONE in your household is on board and happy to adopt one of these pups BEFORE you apply.
Once the application is sent to us, please wait patiently for us to read through them. We will call you if we need more information. Please do not call us, we are volunteers who are working our tails off for these doggies.
If you are not successful with your application, you will hear from PetRescue.
