*ts elliott has been adopted* hi i’m elliot and i am looking for a calm home to call my own. I am part beagle but have been successfully walked off lead since
living with my foster mum. I am at my happiest when i can get off lead and smell all the
wonderful smells of the world. (it is imperative to my happiness)
maybe someone would like to do casual tracking and luring classes with
me?

i love dog parks because i love to socialise and have made some good
friends in the time that i have been visiting them

i love to go walking every single day, rain hail or shine and am
looking for a home that recognizes that off lead time is natural for a
dog. Although i am great around children and a family life is on the cards,
i find it at times very stressful around young children. The loud
noises can scare me. Perhaps 10 and older would suit. I have gained confidence in myself since being fostered, but i am
still quite a sensitive guy! big loud noises scare me and high winds
can really discombobulate me. Busy shops and cafes don’t interest me
at all. (people on mass, unless i know them, can really spook me. )

i am very gentle and submissive by nature so other canines find me
very easy to get along with me. If i am not out on adventures i am
more than happy to just chill out on the couch, my bed or if it’s
sunny out in the yard soaking up the sunshine!

i love to play games in the house but at the park there are far better
things to do than chase a ball in my opinion. (my friends do, so
sometimes i pinch the ball so they will chase me instead!)

i seem to get along best with male dogs who like a good rough and
tumble!! all my good friends are working dogs (kelpie, collie and
heeler)! but having said that, i do have a girlfriend at the park who
is my favourite. (another kelpie x)

ideally i would suit someone perhaps out of town on a large property
where i can be in my element (with other canine friend/s, of course). I love the bush! all those wonderful smells!!! i will roam but i
always come back as i don’t go far. I have been trained off lead so am
always conscious of where mum is. (that way, my daily walk would not
seem so important. )
