About Henry DL2561
Henry might be getting older, but don't tell him that! He loves to run around the yard at full speed and then have a good roll on the grass.
He enjoys going for walks to sniff out all the neighbourhood gossip. At home, he likes people-watching through the window to keep up with the local news... and sticking his head out of the window on car rides to check things out. Come to think of it, he just loves to sniff everything.
At the end of a long day of doing zoomies and giving his nose a work out, Henry likes to cuddle up with you on the couch or bed and recharge (in preparation to do it all again tomorrow).
Henry loves meeting new people, but he can get a bit excited and jump up on them, so will need some more practice being polite. He is okay with other dogs, but doesn't like loose dogs rushing at him when he's on lead, so take it easy with introductions. He can also playfully jump on dogs himself, so any dog pals should enjoy that sort of play too. We're told he is good with kids and hasn't met cats.
As Henry's new family, you should be active and have plenty of time and attention to share with him. You'll also need to commit to regular grooming to keep his coat comfortable and neat.
If you'd love to welcome Henry into your home, email DFLadoption@gmail.com to apply.
Medical notes
Henry has recently had cruciate surgery on both his knees
