* 4ft fences ok
* needs to be allowed inside with the family
Hayley is a cute little cuddle bug. She much prefers to be snuggling with her human/s rather than playing with other dogs. Although she doesn't mind the presence of other dogs she doesn't interact with them much, so would be great as an only dog or with a fur sibling who is quiet and calm like her.
Hayley doesn't currently live with children. She has met young kids and is ok with them, but would probably enjoy a more quiet home where she can snooze undisturbed on the couch.
When her foster Mum comes home from work, Hayley greets her with an excited, cute little howl. She howls sometimes when she is about to get food and whenever she feels the need to express her happiness.
She would be best suited as a mostly indoor dog with access to outside whenever she wants to sunbake or go to the toilet. She is toilet-trained and is very confident using a doggy door, but is fine to be locked inside as well when no one is home.
Hayley has met cats and chooks out and about and although she does show interest in them, her foster Mum believes she could be trained to live in harmony with them due to her calm nature.
Currently Hayley lives in a home with 6ft fences but due to her calm nature we believe she would be ok with shorter 4ft fences and a small-to-medium sized yard. She doesn't dig or bark.
Medical notes
Hayley is currently on a slow-kill heartworm eradication program that involves fortnightly medication. All medication and medical costs related to her heartworm eradication are covered by Precious Paws.
