About Coll
Hello! I’m Coll, a border collie cross fella. I’m black and white with a touch of tan and though I say so myself, tall, slim and handsome with super long legs.
I’m a little shy and cautious until I get to know you, but once I do I’m very affectionate and will love being with you and getting pats and cuddles. TV time in the evening is my best - I really, really, like belly rubs and curling up on the sofa with the family. As I’m still a youngster, I can be curious - I will look around for things to play with and will keep a check on any noises indoors and out in the garden. I have been given a few toys and have great fun playing with them.
I am learning my manners and always try super hard to please. I know how to “sit”, “drop” and “shake” and am also pretty good if foster mum tells me to “wait” or “get off” something. I am working hard on “stay” and know how to wait politely for my dinner before tucking in. I am pretty good walking on a lead, especially if it is not too busy and noisy, and love going on bush walks and to the beach. I have made very good progress with my toilet training and sleep on my dog bed all night.
In my foster home I am living with an elderly dog, and get on well with her, but would love a confident young doggy sibling to play with. My ideal new family would include me in their daily life, be home a lot of the time, and should be willing to continue with my training and mental stimulation. In return I will happily shower them with love, hugs and heaps of waggy tail.

Adoption details
To apply to adopt a dog from Dogs4Jobs, you must firstly complete our adoptions application form in full at http://dogs4jobs.com.au/adoption-form/.
You can also write out your answers and email them to dogs@dogs4jobs.com.au
*Please note, due to the high volume of applications received, we will not respond to Petrescue chat messages, or enquiries to adopt a dog. You must complete our adoptions form to be considered for the dog or pup, and we will respond to this form via our email.
We will then request to complete a yard check, or for you to send in photos of your yard showing the fencing, space, shelter and any hazards etc, to confirm it is safe and secure, as well as adequate space for a working breed dog.
Following this, we will then put you in touch with the dog/s foster carer/s that you are interested in, to chat further over the phone, about whether the dog is a good fit for your family, and vice versa. We are searching for the perfect match for each dog and their needs. A meet and greet can be arranged if both parties wish to proceed, and we also offer interstate adoption on all of our dogs.
This pet has been adopted and found love with its new family.
