About Addie
We know that perfect huskies are everywhere (we think we’re a little biased, of course) but sometimes we cross paths with an even more perfect husky, like Addie.
Addie is a beautiful, eight and a half year old black and white husky girl who is looking for a perfect furever home that is almost as perfect as she is. So, why all the praise? She’s just so darn lovely.
Addie is calm, gentle, confident, polite, chatty in an adorable way, and looks forward to cuddles and belly rubs. Nothing ruffles her, and she loves her belly rubs so much she’ll give up even food for scratches. She doesn’t even give a hoot about storms.
Addie is a great companion on a long walk or run (she even has good manners on lead and with other dogs), and you wouldn't hesitate to bring her along to a cafe. She just adapts to everything and takes life in her stride.
What else? She loves to be close to humans, is happy to play or lie calmly whatever suits, is social but never in anyone's face, is relaxed with small dogs, and travels well. She’s also great with her human foster friend, who is 8 years old, and their friends too!
Addie is delightfully polite when it comes to food – she’s very patient and waits to be served, and doesn’t monster her humans if they’re eating.
She is even polite when it comes to bathroom time, and is house-trained, asks very sweetly when she needs to go outside or plonks herself at the door to let you know.
One of Addie’s really lovely qualities is she’s very talkative and chatty, but she is not noisy. Her foster neighbours have said; "We never hear anything, if we didn't see her, we wouldn't know you had a dog".
Isn’t she delightful? Addie is looking for a home to share all that love around, and she’s fit, healthy and has so many years of love to give. She’s a gorgeous girl and we really want to see her live her best live, and help her new humans live theirs.
Addie is currently in care with a female husky, that she gets along very well with and a young male husky that she is in love with. She could be a new friend for a current suitable sized dog or as an only dog.
- Meets and greets are an essential part of the adoption process.
The usual husky rules apply, with no cats or pocket pets, secure, 6ft dig proof fencing and lots of love.
