Tahna has been returned to us from a trial adoption and so we are relisting. If you have already applied for her via our full SAFE application form, let us know as we will have your application in our email system. Tahna is a very joyful, affectionate dog who is a true mixed breed. Her short legs make her appear a small medium size, however she is quite sturdy and quite a strong dog when being walked. If she sees a cat, she is very quick and will attempt to chase, and gets excited and bouncy if she meets another dog, so needs a good chest harness and someone who is alert to her behaviour. Hopefully with continued guidance and routine in her new home she will improve her manners when on lead.

This sweet girl simply loves human company. She is great with kids so would suit a home with children, but would equally do well in most homes. She is house trained and is a companion dog who likes spending time inside with her people and also hanging out with you in the garden. She does bark at dogs walking by her yard, however with the dogs she has been introduced to she gets on well and loves to play, as you can see from her photos.

Tahna enjoys her daily walks and as mentioned above she could do with some ongoing training on lead. On the recent hot days she has decided to dig a cool little hole in her foster carers' backyard, however she doesn't make a habit of it. Maybe a sandy spot in the yard would be to her liking.

If you are active, able to walk an energetic dog, and want a loving and friendly dog to include in your life, Tahna could be your girl.

MEDICAL NOTES
Adoption fee includes vet check with flea and worm treatment, C5 vaccination, microchip (including transfer of ownership) and sterilisation. The fee does not include heartworm treatment.

ADOPTION NOTES
Our adoption process for the successful applicant includes a meet and greet, (including your dog if applicable), a home check (or photos of your yard and fencing to be supplied to us if not local), and a two week trial period to ensure your chosen dog is the right fit for your home.

All adoption fees must be deposited into our SAFE Bunbury bank account in full before adoption trial starts (we cannot accept cash). The Adoption Agreement will be emailed to the selected applicant in advance of meeting your chosen dog.

After the adoption trial period has been completed we arrange transfer of ownership of the dog's microchip to the new owner, and email out the vet records.
