About Gretel DL2551
Gretel is an affectionate girl and will easily bond to her new family. She enjoys sitting on the couch for a snuggle, or is content to chill out on the bed while you read or watch Netflix. She is friendly with people and good with kids 6yrs+. As she's a big girl, smaller kids could find themselves in the way of her very waggy tail.
During the day, Gretel has access to in and outdoors. She has good house manners and is house trained and sleeps indoors overnight. She suits a home with a male doggy friend for company, and is happy to laze about the house or garden with her pal while you're out. She isn't suited to a home with cats.
Gretel is not high energy, but she does enjoy her daily walk around the block. She also likes trips to the park or adventures to the beach, where she has met other dogs and is happy to play. She walks well on a halt harness, but does need a stop-start every now and again to set the pace. She gets excited when she sees another dog whilst on the lead, but settles down when redirected.
Gretel already knows sit, lie down, stay, sit before feeding and before crossing the road. Her recall is pretty good without many distractions, but hasn't yet been tested during busier times, so may need extra practice. She's a quick learner and is very responsive to training with food as she loves to eat.
If you're looking for a special new addition to the family, you can't go past Gretel. Email DFL today to apply.
Medical notes
Skin allergy managed with a single protein diet and Cytopoint injections at vet. At 35kg, she is a large sized dog.
