Meet Cecil! A bit of an old soul, this quiet and dignified man came to us a little worse for wear, but has been under the care of our vet staff. He's now feeling much better and is ready to find his forever home. At the shelter, Cecil has shown himself to be a calm and quiet man, who is pretty independent. He is not an overly demanding cat, so he's unlikely to be underfoot and climbing all over you. Cecil is the cat for you if you are looking for a feline presence in your house, but you're both happy to have your own space. He'd be happiest in a home with adults only - a quiet environment, indoors only. Cecil likes to give your hand a good sniff and will then rub his head into your hand. If he's had enough pats and attention, he may sometimes give a little nip to let you know you can carry on with your day, so cat-experienced people will be best. Cecil has shown some interest in his feline neighbours here at the shelter, but isn't overly fussed and would likely be best as the only pet in the home.
