About Lacy
Lacy is a beautiful 16 month old female shepherd looking for a loving home to call her own and assist with building her confidence.
This lovely girl was surrendered to BARC and is now looking for a new family with which to grow old with, still young and super eager to please Lacy will learn fast and become a loved and loyal family member very quickly.
This girl has the basic commands down and would suit a home with shepherd experience. Very social and great in our play groups Lacy loves to spend her days running around with other dogs.
Lacy would live in a home with older kids and would relish in the attention and enjoy playing and being active out in the yard. This girl is still learning and would benefit from more exposure to the outside world so an active family keen to get her out would be a must.
If you think Lacy may be just the dog you have been waiting for then please contact the staff at BARC on 5441-2209 to arrange a meet and greet appointment.
Please note due to the current Covid government restrictions we are currently unable to facilitate meet and greet appointments with those from outside of regional Victoria.

Adoption details
BARC adoption officers will work with you to help you find a dog or cat that matches your needs, they will discuss things like yard fencing, exercise requirements, other pets and family members, lifestyle factors, and breed experience. To help make this as quick and easy as possible, we ask you complete and adoption questionnaire (located on our website, or you can complete on when you visit). This helps ensure that we are introducing you to the most suitable animals we have available.
We encourage all members of the household to attend a meet and greet with a pet prior to adopting an animal. If the animal being adopted is a dog, we will also require existing dogs in the household to attend the shelter as part of the meet and greet.
Holds can not be placed on animals over the phone, and can only be applied at the discretion of management.
