About Aleut
Hey guys, my name is Aleut. I'm not yet 1 year old and I'm loving puppy life with my foster family. Within a week I've learnt so much and have settled in beautifully. I am a really quick learner and my foster parents think I'm very clever and teachable, as I'm already sitting and waiting for my meals, waiting while they go out of a door before I have my turn and sitting on command. I don't mean to boast but for a little lady I'm pretty proud of how much I'm learning and am excited about what I will be able to learn next.
I enjoy the company of other dogs and I know my place. I am very submissive when I meet a new dog and haven't shown any aggression. Although I enjoy playing with other dogs, my favourite place to be is with my special people and I've quickly fallen in love with my foster parents. I do need people around me as often as possible so living with someone who regularly works long shifts probably wouldn't work for me. I will bark if my people are away from me for too long and insist on sleeping in the bedroom with my foster parents, not on their bed though, I'm happy to sleep on my own bed on the floor in their room.
I am playful and strong and will challenge anyone to a game of tug-o-war but I'm not interested in chasing a ball.
Since I've been at this foster home I have dug under the fence and gotten out when I've been left for too long, however, I don't go far from home, I just like to see what's going on outside and then I come back into the yard. I would need a secure yard at my new home.
I am house trained, I love the car and I love having adventures. I am very loving and loyal and get really excited when my humans come home after being out. I am gentle and definitely a ""people dog"" so I hope wherever I live next there are people around a lot of the time!
