Hi, my name is Zoe.
I just love people and everyone who meets me loves me. I love to give my foster Mum cuddles every morning. I adore kids and love my 9-year-old foster brother and 11-year old foster sister.
I’m a very smart girl and since coming into foster care I have learnt all the basic commands like sit, wait, stay, come. I’m food-orientated which makes training easier. I love playing tug-of-war and playing with soft toys. My favourite thing to do is to investigate my big back yard and chase lizards in the rock gardens. I love going for a trip to the coffee shop with my foster Dad. I also love going for car rides for the school run.
I came in to foster care with my 12 puppies after being left to give birth alone. This has made me a little timid and unsure in new situations. I can be a little scared of other dogs if they run at me when I’m out and about with my foster Dad. I don’t like going to off leash parks as all the dogs off leash overwhelm me. If you like taking dogs to off leash parks, I’m not the dog for you.
Now all my puppies have found loving homes it is time for me to find my forever home. I’m looking for a special family who loves cuddles and lets me sit with them inside. I currently love sitting with my human foster kids in the evening to watch tv and have a cuddle. I need a family who understands that at times I get scared and can be reactive to other dogs. I have been working with a dog trainer and I have responded really well as I’m a smart cookie and have learnt not to bark at my neighbour’s dogs. The dog trainer said she will help me settle into my new place.
I currently live with a very large doggy foster sister. It took me a little while to get used to her size and her boisterous nature but now I like to play with her morning and night. I also live with some foster puppies who I adore playing with. I would like a doggy companion but would also be happy if my new family didn’t have a dog, as long as they provided me with a lot of activities and were home a lot. I need a slow introduction to other dogs.
I love to be near my foster family particularly at night time and would like a nice big bed inside so I feel safe. My foster Mum said I’m a very special girl who needs a family who is prepared to give me all the love I deserve, and understand that I need patience and love to feel safe.
