About Basil
Introducing Basil
“Character” with a capital C here – dogs like Basil done come along too often.
The pound had him listed as a Corgi x .. vet thinks maybe Dashie x Kelpie .. we see maybe some Jack Russell or Fox Terrier.
Little legs .. Big Personality 🥰
Still just a baby at under a year old, Basil is not a pup for the faint of heart.
This boy has energy in spades, a dash of OCD and some seriously adventurous tendencies.
In the home he is calm, loving, sweet, gentle, smart and listens well.
He is affectionate, charming and a real cheeky and lovable character.
He is a busy little man so does need lots of toys and playtime .. he is great company for kids and whilst he can chew things here and there, overall, he is an almost perfect housemate.
Outside the house he becomes a little … challenging.
Imagine a little dinosaur on a lead.😎
He will try and chase cars, bikes, prams, people, dogs …well pretty much anything really.
Leisurely strolls are not really on the cards with this little pocket rocket.
We do think that with ongoing training and a little maturity he will get better, but we are very aware he will not be suited to every household.
He does need a lot of exercise ... there is some serious working dog genes hiding in this little body.
He is not aggressive ..he is just VERY Excitable and he will need a home that can accommodate and work with that.
Another high energy dog to play with would be just awesome as well as plenty of space to run.
If not stimulated, he will go in search of his own adventures and fun so secure fencing is a must here.
If you think you are a match for this adorable little whirlwind, please send us a message.🍀
We respectfully ask that you include plenty of information about yourself and the lifestyle you can offer to Basil
We will only be contacting those we think are suitable matches to hopefully arrange meets – Thank you for Understanding this.
Basils adoption fee is $495 and he is located at Marcoola on the Sunshine Coast.
He has been desexed, vaccinated to date, microchipped and is up to date with his flea / tick and worm treatments.
