Axel

Being a puppy, Axel is full of energy needing lots of toys, treats to chew on, and human interaction to keep his mind stimulated. He is eager to learn and has already picked up sit, stay, and come here. Axel understands the concept of puppy pads, however, a little work is still needed as his aiming can be a bit off (and which guy isn't?). He is an all-round clever boy who is eager to please.

Axel's favourite activities are;

- Jumping from couch to couch and back again

- Playing with his foster friends, he loves a doggy playmate and doesn't like to be on his own for long periods.

- chewing on toys and puppy treats

- Snuggling on the couch

Axel is confident and boisterous but being so young foreign things such as vacuums and hoses are still scary for him. Axel needs a person who is patient and willing to help him grow and learn about new environments and situations. He would thrive with a person who can be slow and steady while taking him through new experiences. Being a Kelpie X Terrier, Axel is expected to grow to Small/Medium in size, give or take a little. He has lots of energy so is needing a family willing to exercise and train with a secure yard. Overall, Axel has so much love to give and is looking for a family who can return the same. A loving and sweet-natured boy awaits his happily ever after.
