About Luna & Herbie ~ Bonded Pair (Adopted)
Are you looking for an instant family? If yes, then this sweet and loving bonded pair may be the fur kids you have been looking for.
Herbie is a 9 year old male bearded collie cross lab, and Luna is a 9 year old female cattle cross. They have lived together since Luna was adopted and absolutely love one another, so a home where they can stay together is what they are looking for. They love to play together with balls and toys, and they can sit and wait for their food. They do not argue over food and will happily share bones and treats. Their owner has had to move to an apartment in Sydney and is sadly unable to take them.
Herbie is a total sweetheart who wants nothing more than to be with his people. He loves to chill out at your feet. His new family will need to keep up with grooming as he has a long coat which needs regular care. Herbie does not like being separated from his family and will bark when they leave for a little while, but soon settles down. He is relaxed at home but sometimes needs reassurance when facing new experiences. He is happy to potter around the house with you and Luna all day long. He currently sleeps in a crate inside and is fully toilet trained.
Luna is a playful and cuddly girl who loves to sit on your lap. She likes to be in charge and has shown a tendency to be dominant, particularly to other female dogs. She needs a cautious introduction to other dogs when out and about. Luna sleeps inside on a bed and is also toilet trained. Both dogs pull a little on the lead at first so may need further lead training. They would be happy with a half hour walk each day and some play time with toys. Both are desexed, with vaccination and worming up to date. They are affectionate, loving and loyal and interested in being involved in everything you do, even if that's relaxing at home.
Herbie and Luna would love a family where people are home as often as possible and are keen to involve them in all activities. They have not been exposed to young children, and it would be best if there were no small children in their home. A family without pocket pets would be best as they have shown a tendency to chase cats and smaller animals. They are very adaptable and able to settle in to a new environment quickly, and would love to be your new best friends.
If you have any questions about these two lovely doggos please email Jenn at drn.jenn@gmail.com, or you can fill out the adoption questionnaire here https://tinyurl.com/drnadopt.
Herbie and Luna are located in East Seaham, NSW. Their adoption fee is $300 for both dogs. This fee includes desexing, microchipping and vaccinations. Both Luna and Herbie are up to date with all worming and flea treatments.
