About Hank
Hank the tank is a 3 and 1/2 year old Bull mastiff X who was surrendered to BARC and is now ready for a new home.
This boy is a lovable big goof ball who adores people and loves to play with everyone, he has lived in a home with dogs and children and would be looking for a home with both as long as your children were older than 10 and capable of dealing with a big dog.
Hank has received obedience training in his past home and as such is a wonderful dog on lead, he heels and does not pull, off lead this boy is a ball of excitement with legs and drool going in every direction.
Hank loves spending his days here in our playgroups with other large dogs and enjoys sleeping the nights away after exhausting himself.... So be prepared to give up your couch or buy a bigger bed to accommodate this big boy.
Hank is in need of a home with big dog experience, someone able to deal with a rough and tumble dog and ready for all the puppy kisses he gives freely.... Drool at no extra cost.
If you think you may be the ideal home for this boy please do not hesitate to contact BARC and discuss the possibility of a meet and greet appointment.
Please note due to COVID-19 government we are unable to facilitate meet and greet appointments with people outside of regional Victoria and in Melbourne Metro areas.
Available to meet and greet 24/10/2020

Adoption details
BARC adoption officers will work with you to help you find a dog or cat that matches your needs, they will discuss things like yard fencing, exercise requirements, other pets and family members, lifestyle factors, and breed experience. To help make this as quick and easy as possible, we ask you complete and adoption questionnaire (located on our website, or you can complete on when you visit). This helps ensure that we are introducing you to the most suitable animals we have available.
We encourage all members of the household to attend a meet and greet with a pet prior to adopting an animal. If the animal being adopted is a dog, we will also require existing dogs in the household to attend the shelter as part of the meet and greet.
Holds can not be placed on animals over the phone, and can only be applied at the discretion of management.
