About Belle
All About Me and My Unique Personality:
I am a super friendly & smoochy young lady, looking for my very own forever family - could it be with you?
I have a stunning grey coat and piercing amber eyes which can make your soul melt. I'm still raising my kittens which takes up a lot of my time and energy, so haven't shown a hugely playful side yet, but this can often come out as the little ones grow. I am very laid back and enjoy lounging around the room. When my carer is near, I like to stay close, often sleeping at her feet or next to her on the lounge. I am fine being picked up and very much enjoy relaxing into some lap cuddles, especially if a couple of sneaky butt scratches are thrown in ;-). My Carer works full time and I can be left in the room with my kittens for a the day while she is away and I'm ok with that. Being a bit more mature, I'm comfortable in my own space and don't worry - just give extra smooches when she gets home.
I will be available for adoption when my kittens are a little older. This is likely to be late October/Early November. I would like to lock in my forever home now so I can go there as soon as everyone is ready. My adoption fee is $150, for which I come microchipped, vaccinated, flea & worm treated, desexed and vet checked. I have my house manners; I am litter trained and use the scratching post provided.
My whole little family is available for adoption. Check out our profiles on the HAR website!
Please note: There is high demand for kitties at the moment and my carer works full time. She promises to contact everyone after she has received all applications. Please be patient and treat her with the kindness she shows us :-)
Local area adoptions only.
My Ideal Home:
I came into care with my kittens so a forever home with one of them would be my ultimate dream, but any home with a human who will provide me with lots of care and love will be life changing. It would be best if I don't go to a house with an established cat (see below).
My outdoor life is officially over and my new owners need to be committed to keeping me inside only, for my safety and that of the local wildlife.
What is Known About My Background:
I was brought to a local pound with my 5 babies. We are not sure what my life was like before that, but I am super healthy and cuddly, so we think it must not have been too bad!
How Do I Interact with Kids, Dogs, Cats and Other Pets:
I love my kittens and have been an amazing mum. In a dream world, I would love to live with one of them forever. While in care, I have had a couple of run ins with the resident cat. I am currently in defensive mumma mode, so this is to be expected. However, my carer thinks my feelings may be a little stronger than just protecting my kittens. She thinks I should not go to a home with another established cat there.
I have not been tested with other pets. I am generally laid back so should be ok, but thoughtful introduction will be important.
My gentle and cuddly nature makes me a great companion for children. My carer has a 5 year old niece who likes to come and play with my kittens and I regularly. I love visits and will snuggle up with her on the lounge.
