About Bundy ~ Cattle Dog X (On Trial 07/11/20)
This is Bundy, your new speckled best friend forever reporting for duty. I am a gentle and loving 6 year old female Cattle dog X Greyhound. I might be a medium to large dog, but as I am part greyhound I only get random bursts of energy, so my favourite thing to do is have a nap and a big stretch out on my bed. I love being around my foster family, if they’re home I would much rather be inside, but if they’re not home I am happy to stay by myself in the yard. I don’t dig, jump or try to go off on my own adventures, because I know that my family will be home soon.
I am on my best behaviour when getting in the car, as one of my favourite things to do is stick my head out the window and have a sniff on our way too and from walks. Speaking of walks! I walk very well in my harness and interact well with other dogs while on the lead. although I can be a bit shy and guarded of my own butt sometimes. I am happy to play and interact with other dogs as long as they aren’t bigger than me! This is when I can get a little nervous, but I am having more positive interactions with big dogs on every walk I take, I just need a little bit of practice, so hopefully my future family can help me with this. Which should be no problem as I am a fast learner, and am always happy to practice commands with you. I have already learnt basic commands in the short time I have been with my foster family. I can sit, stay, lay down, come and I am toilet trained too.
My future family could be anyone really! I am happy one on one with people or in bigger family groups. I also love little humans, I will gently sniff and interact with babies and toddlers on my walks, and my foster family have an 8 year old who brings out my most playful side. But due to my size (and my sometimes excitable nature with my toys) I think it's best if my future family doesn’t have any children younger than 8 years old at home. Also, as I mentioned I am nervous with other dogs, so for the moment I am best to be the only dog in the house, but I get along just fine with cats, birds and other small pets.
If you are looking for a four legged friend with a helicopter tail that spins around and around when you come home at the end of the day, or leave the room for more than five minutes then I might just be the dog for you.
For more information or to meet Bundy, please contact her foster carer Kate on almondmilkisokay92@gmail.com. Bundy is in foster care in the Newcastle area, NSW. Bundys adoption fee is $400 and she is desexed, vaccinated, treated for fleas and worms, microchipped, and lifetime registered.
