About Lenny
Why hello there, I'm Lenny.
I was surrendered to BARC with my lifelong companion Boo due to no fault of our own, and are now looking for our new forever home.
We would really love to be re homed together, but if that's not possible we would be best going to a home with another cat.
In our previous home we lived as inside/outside cats and had dogs and children around us all the time. This makes us pretty much perfect for any family or home environment.
At the age of 13 I would prefer to go to a home with older children, who can understand and respect my boundaries. Even though I am 13, I am still a very active and energetic boy who loves to be involved in all the day to day activities of my people.
If you think that I could be the purrfect addition to your home and family call BARC on (03) 54412209 to book your essential meet and greet appointment.
Please note that we will not be accepting appointments from stage 4 lock down areas and may not be in a position to respond to all email inquiries.

Please note that I am currently awaiting a date for a dental procedure before I head off to my new home.
Adoption details
BARC adoption officers will work with you to help you find a dog or cat that matches your needs, they will discuss things like yard fencing, exercise requirements, other pets and family members, lifestyle factors, and breed experience. To help make this as quick and easy as possible, we ask you complete and adoption questionnaire (located on our website, or you can complete on when you visit). This helps ensure that we are introducing you to the most suitable animals we have available.
We encourage all members of the household to attend a meet and greet with a pet prior to adopting an animal. If the animal being adopted is a dog, we will also require existing dogs in the household to attend the shelter as part of the meet and greet.
Holds can not be placed on animals over the phone, and can only be applied at the discretion of management.
