PLEASE READ CAREFULLY BEFORE APPLYING FOR A DOG

We are very concerned about the health of our volunteers and their families.
To protect them, we require you to read the following and answer honestly before any meet and greets can be organised.

IF YOU HAVE SYMPTOMS
Any of these symptoms, or any family member displaying, we ask you to wait before applying for a dog -
* Coughing or sneezing
* runny or blocked nose
* shortness of breath
* high temperature or fever
* sore throat
* aches or pains
* other flu like symptoms
If you have returned from overseas or been on a cruise anywhere in the world, please do not apply within 2 weeks of your return to Australia.
If you are in self isolation, please do not apply, you need to stay at home.
Thank you for valuing our carers health, knowing that a false declaration will endanger them and any future animals that we would be unable to help.

-A patient home committed to ongoing training

If you are looking for your next adventure buddy Bet Bet is your girl! She is an active pup who absolutely loves a run on the beach or a hike through a forest. She is very friendly with other dogs but currently has not been cat tested. She would enjoy having an energetic fur buddy to keep her company and to teach her the ropes.

After her daily hour walk she enjoys a good cuddle and a siesta. She is happy to stay home alone for a few hours without any trouble. She is food motivated and knows all the basic commands and is house trained.

She is quite shy particularly when it comes to men. She has spent the last few months getting over her fears and although she has a long way to go she has made a lot of progress. It takes her a while to warm up to new people but once she trusts you she is a cuddle bug. She does like to play somewhat rough and occasionally nibbles which is a normal behaviour for her breed so she would not be suited for a family with young children.
