About Pippa
Little Pippa is an absolute delight! She was surrendered to our Inspector after a visit to check on her and other dogs in the household. She had a bad flea infestation, causing some loss of hair along her back and extreme irritation, which is rapidly improving now that there are no fleas!
Pippa also had a ''cherry eye'' for which she has had surgery, and whilst there is still a little swelling at this stage, her eye is beginning to look much better and less irritated. (These photos were taken pre-surgery). Unfortunately little Pippa also needed to have several teeth removed, but she has recovered from that very quickly and the next day was wanting to have a gnaw on a pigs ear! Unlike we mere humans following major surgery, dogs don't sit around feeling sorry for themselves, they just get on with enjoying life!
Pippa is very well housetrained, not a yapper, and she is very energetic and playful. It seems no one has told her that at almost 13 years of age, she is an elderly lady, so she doesn't see why she should act like one. She would enjoy a home where she can be with her people most of the time, and she would love to take them on a short stroll each day so she could check out the neighbourhood sights, sounds and - most importantly - smells!
Pippa would make a wonderful companion for anyone - all she really wants is to be loved, and to give love in return, and it doesn't seem to matter who the people are, how old, or where they come from! She greets everyone with the same amount of pleasure and excitement.
