About Angelica
My name is ANGELICA
I am a gorgeous girl who loves to be loved. I am lots of fun, I will need an owner who can continue teaching me to be a well behaved doggo, as I am going to be a big girl when I grow up. I am very much a family member. I want to be wherever my family is at. I am currently living with 2 human foster brothers who love kicking the soccer ball around with me in the back yard. They also have a grumpy 15-year-old dog, who tolerates me, but I know when he’s had enough and find someone else to play with. I have also had visits with my rugrat brother Stu, and his dog brother George. We love a good game of chasey and wrestling. All my human visitors fall in love with me instantly.
I have been spending my days lounging while my foster mum works. It’s a hard life, but someone has to do it. I think of myself as a lapdog, cute tiny and sweet, but my foster mum says she thinks I’m getting a little too big for that now. I’m not listening, I am adorable and she would never turn me away. I have also started spending time outside in the sunshine during the day. I object at first but settle quickly.
I really enjoy playing soccer, fetch and tug-a-war with my toys. I am learning lots of new things, firstly my name, sit, drop, and we are working on stay. I am a really smart cookie and have been picking up any training really quickly. I am also mastering the art of walking on a lead.
I have been working really hard on my manners, learning that toys are for chewing not people 😊 I am pretty good at toileting outside now, but as I am still a baby and learning, sometimes I have an accident.
I will do anything for a treat. Food is life. I can be a greedy guts and eat all my food really fast. They make me sit now before I am allowed to eat, but it hasn’t slowed me down. I also don’t mind a snuggle with a stuffed toy through out the day when I go for my toddler naps.
I am a bit of a princess, and don’t like wet grass on the bottom of my feet. I am getting better with all the new noises in my neighborhood.
My perfect home would have another dog, or fun humans to play with.
Medical notes
Angelica was diagnosed with a heart mumur. The cardiologist believes this is an innocent heart murmur.
