About Fred
Heya, Freds the name and playing is the game! I'm a young lad (well I feel young at heart) and rather energetic. I am seeking an active family who I can keep on their toes! There isn't much that isn't perfect about me, I am friendly with other well mannered doggos, I like people, I walk like a dream on the lead! We will just have to look over the tiny issue of my hate for pesky cats... so I would not like any of them in my new home and that also extends to chickens and pocket pets. Small furry things are not friends in my eyes. But hey, no one is perfect right?
I may be smallish for a Wolfhound cross but I am mighty, and I have a good jump on me. I like to jump to the top of my carers 6 foot fences to give the neighbour kisses, so my new home will need 6 foot fencing to ensure I don't go around the neighbour romancing all the locals. I can't help it that they find me irresistible!
I would also love a decent sized yard so I can stretch my legs and get out my zoomies and another doggo to keep me company! Ideally a playful one! My current fur sister gets sick of playing so I have to annoy my foster mum to play with me! I currently get 2 walks a day to get out an about and visit all the locals and give my kisses to all my admirers and on weekends we do fun things like go to Southbank, Kangaroo Point, hikes to Mt Cootha and I really enjoy the active life and strutting my stuff. I love a nap on the couch, but I am no couch potato. I respond well to training because I really love food and my carers teach me cool stuff, I like it because I can show off my tricks to all my new friends I meet and get extra attention.
My carers say I am a bit goofball, your typical Irish larrikin who likes to make everyone laugh. So if you think you have the energy to keep up with me and need the laughs, fill out an application below:
Medical notes
Fred has a heart murmur - Grade 2. He is awaiting an Echocardiogram to confirm. However this shouldn't effect his life too much.
