About Harry ^Dandy Cat Rescue^
🐱🐱 $220 adoption fee 🐱🐱
***PLEASE READ PROFILE FULLY, ONLY THOSE WHO FIT THE CRITERIA COMPLETELY WILL BE CONSIDERED***
Harry is a whirlwind of fun, he plays hard and rests hard. He came in to foster at an older age and although he has transitioned beautifully, he doesn’t really know his own strength and can dig his paws and teeth in when playing, so is not suited to a home with children - older teens and above would be best so they can understand when Harry wants to be left alone.
Harry loves trying to play with the older cats in his foster home, so with proper introduction, would go well with another kitten of his age, or a good natured cat or dog.
As Harry has only been in a home for a short period of his life, he can be quite shy. He likes to hide and sleep under the bed and sometimes runs away with different noises that he is unfamiliar with. Harry can be happy spending time chilling by himself on his window seat or tucked between the pillows on the bed, but will come and sit by you when he wants company.
Harry is a real cuddle bug at night time - he enjoys sleeping on the bed and apart from getting up to use the litter tray or to have a nibble on his biscuits or a drink, he sleeps right through. He is a solid, stunning boy with the most incredibly soft, thick, luxurious ginger coat and he has a fascination with his carers’ birds, sitting on the back of the couch watching them.
Harry’s ideal home would be with older teenagers or a younger couple that can keep him entertained and know when to let him be. If there is another female assertive cat in your home then that would be a bonus, but as long as he is kept entertained when his servants are home then he will be fine as an only cat.
Due to his light facial features, Harry will need to be an indoor only cat.
• No young children (older teenagers fine)
• Prefer a cat to keep Harry company
• Understanding/experience with shy cats an advantage
• Indoor only
Located at Cranbourne North.
