Carlos was a pretty sleek dog on the track (77 race starts & nearly 40 grand in prize money) but given the choice, we think he’d probably opt for a more laid-back pet lifestyle.

Carlos has settled into urban living with ease – walking some fairly busy streets & stopping at the local coffee shop are all in a day’s work. But he also likes to check out the nearby ovals & harbour foreshores from time to time. Carlos is a very social boy – he loves meeting new humans (including the smaller variety) & is calm & tolerant of other dogs.

He will retrieve a ball (well, for a bit, until he’s had enough – after all, he’s a hound) but spends much of his time snoozing.

Quite content to be an only dog, Carlos would suit a variety of households with a yard and the companionship of humans for a fair bit of the day.
